Kate Ellis

Kate came to C. Eyewear after earning her B.A. in Media Studies from UNCG with Summa Cum Laude honors. Both her personal experience wearing contacts and glasses and her desire to work with people one-on-one led her to a career as an optician. Kate has an eye for detail and loves a good challenge when it comes to adjusting frames and finding the perfect glasses for every patient. This Winston-Salem native will strike up a conversation with anybody about almost anything, so she really likes to talk to and get to know everyone who walks through the door at C. Eyewear. If she’s not on the floor working with patients, you will find her quality checking glasses behind the scenes to make sure every patient’s order is up to par.

When she’s not at work, Kate has her hands busy raising her young daughter and a Yellow Lab. When she gets the time for it, she loves going up to the mountains and beaches of North Carolina with her family and friends. She’s an avid sports fan and really likes to cook new recipes, so she loves entertaining, especially around football season.
